Cucumber

Well, our cucumber trellis doesn't work so much. We used some cheap plastic poles to help trellis the cucumbers. The weight of the cucumbers has actually pulled down all of the string and doesn't seem to help them any.

Cook-out

Dearest & I had family come into town. They were helping paint and fix up the new house. I am glad that they came, but I wish they would have stayed a little longer. I could barely keep up with there work pace. Maybe I'm just an old soal or maybe I'm just getting old, but I can't do half as much of the things they did. Anyway, we decided to cook out for the evening. Hamburgers and hotdogs were the selected fare. With the addition of a bonfire, it was a lively night.

Family Arrives

Family arrived at our new house this morning around 2AM. I have been tired from the moving that I couldn't stay awake to greet them. Actually, I didn't know they were there until Dearest threw the dog on the bed and told him to stay. He had been barking nonstop. Mully doesn't very much like strangers and especially doesn't like them at 2AM.

Tonight we had steaks for supper. We also got some tomatos from the potted garden for the salad. Mmm... they were good...

Moved

As of 3AM this morning, we were completely moved out of the old house. Dearest is coming back in the morning to get the horses and barn things.
